Day 43 - 269.8 pounds I am very dissapointed

I have lost 10.2 pounds in 6 weeks, I know, it is a reasonable amount of weight to lose in that kind of time period.  But I have been spoiled by the usual large weight loss that I have gotten with this weigh loss plan in the plan.

I've been trying to divide up my goal of 100 pounds into smaller ones... I have this BMI chart, and I'm too heavy to be in it .. so I thought my first goal could be to get into that chart, with a BMI of 40 I need to get tto 240 pounds, which means losing about 29.8 pounds.

That's a good first step isnt it?  I hope so.  Still, it took me a month and a half to lose 10 pounds.. will it take 4 and a half months for me to lose those 30 pounds.  That scares me, I am already getting fed up with this.

THis past wednesday I had my frist slip.It was completely planned, It felt a bit bad. I changed two of my meals for a snack at the movies and a sandwich from quiznos later for dinner.

I tried to make up for it by doing 25 minutes of stationary bike.

I don tknow about this anymore... Is it worth it?  I still ahve aches and pains, there have been a few improvements

  • my hip does not hurt anymore when I get up from bed
  • I dont get the shakes from low blood sugar as often as before
  • I'm not flat out exhausted by noon (still tired just not exhausted like before)

I guess those are worth celebrating????  I hope so..

Newsflash
Choose greener lettuce

I just found out that Iceberg lettude (crisphead) is the LEAST nutritious lettuce of them all.  Rule of thumb, the greener the better.  Romaine lettuce, for example, has 3 more calories but 300% more Beta Carotene! (Total of 16 calories per 2 cup serving)

New Year, New Health

This 2008 I need to lose MUCH more than 100 pounds, 140 to be exact.  You'd think the number would go down instead of up!
